France’s rail transport regulator, Autorité de régulation des activités ferroviaires (ARAF), has ordered that the SNCF group re-submit the annual accounts of its rail freight arm, Fret SNCF, amid suspicions that it has benefited from financial support from other areas of its parent company’s business, in contravention of EU law.
